Tesla declares its second profitable year a "breakthrough"

<p>Tesla&#39;s fourth-quarter profit was a record $2.3B, according to the company&#39;s announcement. It was the company&#39;s second year of profitability and a significant improvement over the $270M profit in the Q4 of 2021. The company earned $5.5B in net income in 2021, up from $721M in 2020. In the fourth quarter, Tesla produced more than 300K vehicles, up 70% from the previous year. The company delivered 936K+ vehicles during the fiscal year 2021.</p>
